◆ FOR AGENCIES, IT, POS & PRINT PARTNERS

Become the service provider restaurant owners reach directly from their software.

The eCaupo Manager has a button labelled “Contact service partner”. Behind it is you: visible in the software your target group works with every day — free of charge, without commission, without cold calling.

◆ The problem on both sides

They need you. They just can't find you.

The restaurant owner

A busy business, software that can do a lot — and no time to maintain it. Updating the menu, preparing photos, setting up promotions, designing flyers, getting the receipt printer running again. They don't need new software. They need someone to do it for them.

You

You can do exactly that. But reaching them is hard: cold calling in the restaurant trade is expensive, the window for a conversation is narrow, and whoever has no time today won't call back in three months.

What's missing is the place where the business looks for support at the moment the need actually arises — while they are sitting in front of the task. That place is the eCaupo Manager.

◆ You decide what you offer

Typical service areas of our service partners

A service partner is an independent company that supports restaurant businesses around their eCaupo shop. One of these areas, several or all of them — your choice.

Shop and data maintenance

Creating and updating the menu, prices, categories, allergens.

Images and design

Product photos, image cropping, homepage, layout — we eat with our eyes.

Marketing

Promotions and vouchers, newsletters, social media, seasonal campaigns.

Print

Flyers, menus, stickers, vehicle lettering.

On-site technology

POS integration, receipt printers, network, tablets.

Consulting

Delivery areas, pricing, workflows in the business.

◆ Clearly separated

Your relationship with the business is yours.

eCaupo maintains a directory and technically activates listings. eCaupo does not vet, does not recommend, earns nothing from the referral and is not a party to your contract with the business.

That is not a limitation but the foundation: you negotiate services, prices and response times directly with the business — with no platform in between that listens in or takes a cut. eCaupo does not know your terms.

◆ Your address in the system

K7M-Q2X-VBD

Your Service Partner ID: nine characters, deliberately without easily confused characters such as 0, 1, I and O — so you can read it out over the phone. On your invoice, in your quote, on your business card. The restaurant owner types it in and sees your listing.

◆ How the collaboration comes about

Four steps to your first request

The business finds you, sends a request — and you decide. You are never assigned to a business you don't want to or can't serve without being asked.

You are in the directory

With your Service Partner ID and a service area you define yourself: as a radius around your address — or as a fixed list of businesses if you work exclusively or nationwide.

The business finds you

Via your ID — or via the proximity list in the Manager, sorted by distance. A neighbourhood list, not a ranking: nobody can buy a better position there.

They request your support

Beforehand they see your listing, the complete data catalogue and the notice that eCaupo has not vetted you — and give their explicit consent. What arrives with you at first is only a request.

You decide

In the portal you accept or decline. Once you accept, requests from the Manager come straight to you. Either side can end the link at any time — your contract remains unaffected.

◆ Your workspace

The Service Partner Portal

One place for all the businesses you look after instead of a mail folder per customer. Log in with Service Partner ID, username and password — you create accounts for your staff yourself. Everything in the browser, no software of your own.

Businesses you look after

All linked delivery services at a glance: business name, shop address, company, customer number, licence status, location and since when you have been looking after them. New support requests are accepted or declined here.

Requests with context

Every request becomes a case with its own number: request type, the restaurant owner's text, name and e-mail of the sender — business, customer number and time are assigned automatically. The business sees the status open, in progress, closed in its Manager.

Notices in the message centre

Appointment confirmation, feedback, maintenance notice — you post short notices exactly where eCaupo's own notices land. Labelled “From your service partner” with your company name, optionally with a button back to the portal.

◆ A channel the recipient trusts

So that notices don't turn into an advertising banner, there are fixed, technically enforced limits: at most five notices in seven days per business, at least one hour apart, automatic removal after 14 days at the latest, no images, no external links, no alarm colours. The restaurant owner can dismiss any notice and switch the channel off. That is intentional — a channel people trust is worth more than one they mute.

◆ What's in it for you

The benefits at a glance

Visibility in the right place

You are where the need arises: in the software the business works with — not in a trade directory nobody opens.

Requests with context

Business, customer number, contact person and request arrive together. No need to ask who is actually calling and which shop it's about.

Recurring business

Menus, promotions, seasonal changes, new locations — the need for maintenance never ends. An existing link is a permanently open line.

Free of charge, no commission

No admission fee, no referral fee, no price requirements. eCaupo does not know your terms.

Your scope, your rules

You define the service area and the services — and whether you accept a business. A business always has exactly one service partner: whoever is linked is the first port of call.

Clear legal position

What is transmitted is conclusively defined and shown to the business word for word beforehand. No grey area you'll have to argue about later.

◆ Data protection

What you get — and what you don't

The data catalogue is a commitment to the restaurant owner. It is shown to them word for word in the Manager before they link, and cannot be quietly extended.

What you get

  • Continuously: name of the business, shop web address, company, customer number, licence status, postcode, town, country and date of the link
  • With every request: request type, request text, time as well as name and e-mail address of the staff member sending it

What you explicitly don't get

  • Revenue, orders and order data
  • Customer, address and contact data of the guests
  • Item and price data, operational and technical data of the shop
  • Login credentials of any kind — and no read access to the message centre

If you are given Manager access

Many tasks can only be done in the Manager itself. Whether you get access and with which rights is decided solely by the business — the link as a service partner creates no access. If you do get access, you process data on behalf of the business and need a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR with them. Tip: bring your DPA to the first meeting — it looks professional and saves both sides a week of back and forth.

Every link and every unlink is logged in the business's shop — time, acting user, your company and the confirmed version of the notices. So it is clear later on whose instruction which data was transferred. For your protection, too.

◆ Who it's worth it for

Already close to restaurant owners?

Then all that's missing is the short path from their need to your inbox.

  • Agencies and web service providers that look after restaurant clients and are looking for recurring maintenance work.
  • IT and POS partners who are on site anyway and want to take on the digital part as well.
  • Print shops and signage specialists for whom menu and shop share the same data.
  • Restaurant consultants who want to implement their recommendations afterwards, too.
  • Regional providers that cover exactly one service area and want to be visible there.

◆ How to become a service partner

The route goes through a delivery service

You register yourself in the Service Partner Portal. You get access to it through a restaurant business that already uses eCaupo and that you work with — or want to work with.

Approach the business

Talk to the delivery service you want to look after. Through them you get to the registration in the portal.

Register

Enter company details, description, contact channels, service area and services — and name the business you are starting with.

Activation

You receive your Service Partner ID and your portal access.

Get started

The business links you in the Manager, you accept the support — and from now on you pass your ID on to your other customers.

You need to bring a delivery service with you. That is intentional: it all starts with a business that wants you. This keeps the directory a list of service providers who are actually active — not a collection of listings without a single customer. Know a business that wants to switch to eCaupo? Accompany them there — then you start together.

◆ Frequently asked questions

Short answers

Does it cost anything to take part?

No. The directory listing and the portal are free of charge, and eCaupo charges no commission on your jobs.

Does eCaupo recommend me to others?

No. eCaupo maintains the directory and activates listings, but does not make recommendations and does not award any seal of approval. The proximity list is sorted by distance, not by rating.

Do I have to accept every business?

No. Every link starts as a request, which you can decline.

Can I look after several businesses?

Yes, as many as you like. Conversely, each business has exactly one service partner.

What happens if a business ends the link?

The data flow stops, the business disappears from your overview, requests already submitted stay with you. Your contract with them continues until it ends according to your agreements.

Do I get access to my businesses' revenue?

No. Operational data is not transmitted. Should that ever change, it would be an explicit decision requiring renewed consent from the business.

I don't yet look after a business that uses eCaupo — can I still become a partner?

No. You need to bring a delivery service with you; that is the route to registration. If you know a business that wants to switch to eCaupo, accompany them there — then you start together.

Do I need my own software?

No. All you need is a browser. The portal is part of the solution.

Do I replace eCaupo support?

No. Support remains available to the business for questions about the software, the contract and in case of faults. You come in addition, not instead.

How secure is the connection?

The shop only talks to the portal — exactly one gateway between the systems. Every call is signed and valid for only 60 seconds; repeated failed attempts are blocked. The shop does not store the link but checks afresh with every operation — which is why every change takes effect immediately. Misuse of the interface can lead to the directory listing being suspended; whatever you have agreed with the business remains unaffected.
