An SMS to your customers is still the most reliable order confirmation
SMS is still the most reliable form of order confirmation. That's because emails — especially when many of them have similar content — quickly fall under suspicion of spam. Most customers then wait in vain for a confirmation of their order and, in the worst case, even call you. That costs you time and effort. SMS, on the other hand, is a reliable transmission medium. In the vast majority of cases, you can assume that an SMS arrives once it's been sent. That's also why it's commonly used for security features such as banking TANs.
Your eCaupo delivery shop is able to send SMS. Automatically or depending on the order. You can also send pickup confirmations with your eCaupo delivery system, as you can see in the examples on the right or below.
eCaupo sends SMS to your customers for you
Fully automatically with every order or manually with a click from you: eCaupo can inform your customers about their order. The customer then has one more confirmation that their order is now being prepared. Offer this service to your customers — they'll thank you for it.
On the left you see four different SMS types, which also exist in the informal form of address if you address your customers personally in your shop.
Depending on your settings, the shop sends one of these SMS to your customer. If they pre-ordered, they receive their delivery time as confirmation accordingly.
Also send SMS when the customer wants to collect the food in person. Ideally a few minutes before it's ready, so they arrive at your place just in time as the food comes fresh out of the oven.
In the eCaupo support centre you can learn more about SMS sending and how it works.
